Proof of Concept
Acronym : POC
A POC is a limited demonstration, built quickly and cheaply, meant to verify that an idea or technology is technically feasible before investing further.
Why it matters
It allows non-viable ideas to be ruled out quickly without mobilizing a full team, and helps secure larger budgets with concrete evidence.
Concrete example
Before launching a large-scale AI project, a team runs a two-week POC on a limited scope to validate technical feasibility.
